Our methodology
Every deal on Unstore is verified against the storefront before it appears on the page. This is how the process works.
Verification
For each offer, we visit the redemption URL, confirm the page returns HTTP 200, and check that the discount or promo code is actually present on the destination page. Anything that points at a generic homepage, a moved page, or a different deal gets dropped. Promo codes specifically must appear as a literal string on the redemption page or on a page directly linked from it.
Refresh cadence
Game pages refresh on an automated schedule and on demand when a publisher announces a major event. Every offer carries a "Last verified" timestamp; that's the moment a person or automated check confirmed the deal was live on the storefront. Anything past its expiry date moves to the Recently Expired section so the page still answers searches for older codes.
Trust levels
Offers are labelled Official (run by the publisher), Authorized (run by a partner the publisher authorises — Midasbuy, Codashop and similar), Third Party (a reseller working within publisher rules), or Grey Market (works but the publisher doesn't sanction it). The trust badge is visible on every offer card.
Authors
Game pages are signed by one of five editors based on the platform mix. Mobile titles rotate between three editors; PC and console each have one dedicated editor. Every byline links to the author's bio.
